1 Includes right-of-use assets related to finance leases of $570 million and $576 million as of September 30, 2026 and December 31, 2025, respectively.
We recorded depreciation and depletion expense of $240 million and $723 million for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026, respectively, and $268 million and $906 million for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2025, respectively.
During the second quarter of 2025, we decided to indefinitely idle our Steelton, Conshohocken, and Riverdale facilities. As a result, a $39 million Asset impairment was recorded to Property, plant and equipment, net and accelerated depreciation of $12 million and $131 million was recorded for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2025, included within depreciation and depletion expense.
